Through creativity, cameras and charity, AJDM are making their mark

Fake it ‘til you make it – that was probably what Alex ‘Migg’ Migda told himself when he arranged his very first photoshoot with an influencer four years ago.

The creativity and the hunger was there. The problem? The camera wasn’t.

He went on to borrow one from his friends and successfully started shooting. A couple days later he randomly found a film camera in his loft which he used for his next one.

Following his debut in the scene, Alex grew a real liking for photography, with it becoming a regularity.

Over time, Migg made a name for himself, working with brands like Unknown and Dark Circle, featuring in Stussy x Sneakers’N’Stuff’s collaboration too.

But that wasn’t enough for the young photographer, he wanted something that represented him.

“I loved taking pictures of people at events or just generic street-style pictures. But after some time, I really wanted something that I could have in my photos to represent me and who I am,”

“I want people to see these pictures or notice someone wearing the garms and be like ‘ahh that’s Migg’.”

That was the moment AJDM was born.

At first, Migg started by printing photos on tees back during his school years. The craft of creating become a love, but it took time to figure his brand direction.

“Over time, having worked with many brands, I’ve picked up on the design styles I really like and fuck with…and as a result, the ones I wanted to incorporate into my own style.”

Dedicating more time to the label, AJDM started building success, selling out their drops in quick times. People were catching on.

But Migg still wants more. Donating 20% of profits to brain cancer research, AJDM are helping to change the world. With plans of more drops, new items and pop-up stores, the label are leaving their own imprint on the planet from infront of, behind and beyond the lense.
